Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee an entire facility or a department during the assigned shift. You will support daily operations on the floor, coordinating production, safety, quality, and maintenance to meet objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, 5 years in a dairy manufacturing setting with 3 years in supervision, and familiarity with HTST pasteurization and inventory systems. On-site work with a focus on efficiency and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred at some facilities.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Dairy Manufacturing environment. May require 3 years at a supervisory level in a production environment depending upon facility.
• Experience with HTST pasteurization (site-dependent).
• Experience with inventory management systems (site-dependent).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production and cleaning activities and schedules to meet business objectives.
• Ensure production efficiencies are maximized and waste is minimized.
• Provide leadership for department employees including shift scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Enforce GMP, SQF, Safety, Quality and Regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and sanitation.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions as needed.
