Job summary

HP Hood LLC, a leading US food and beverage manufacturer, seeks a hands-on supervisor to lead a production crew, ensure safety, quality, and efficient plant operations, and uphold company standards.

You will direct crew members, coordinate maintenance activities, address training needs, and respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime. Strong communication and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer skills (IE Microsoft Office)
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• Excellent Mechanical skills
• Ability to work well with people
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-driven
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Direct the actions of crew members and communicate with supervisors and managers.
• Uphold quality, safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure maintenance is performed or elevated for future maintenance.
• Communicate with team to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Address training concerns of ops techs and leadership.
• Address equipment concerns to minimize downtime.
• Set up upcoming shift for a successful run.
• Perform duties to support the team.
• Conduct maintenance activities such as valve PMs and resealing.
• Monitor equipment for indications of problems and improvements.
• Work overtime when needed.
• Attend trainings when needed.
• All tasks performed by a supervisor with exceptions for official discipline activities.
• Tasks as assigned by HP Hood leadership.
