Job summary

Dairy-Farmers-of-America,-Inc. is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to direct assigned production employees and manage shift activities.

You will ensure safety, quality, and sanitation while coordinating communications from the Plant Manager to staff, and maintaining essential production records. Requirements include a college degree preferred in Management or Food Science, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Review current and anticipated production at the start of each shift.
• Assess manpower needs for efficient operation of shift.
• Assist production employees in manufacturing to meet product specifications.
• Investigate and correct causes of out-of-spec products.
• Maintain highest possible production rate and safety adherence.
• Ensure safe operating procedures and plant conduct.
• Process and relay information from Plant Manager to production staff.
• Maintain shift paperwork (absentee reports, bills of lading, production records, lab results).
• Oversee sanitation program and cleaning chemical levels.
