Qualifications

• Retail experience required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction) is needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products across the store.
• Gain knowledge of dairy products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of dairy specials and promotions.
• Provide customers with fresh dairy products and place orders as needed.
• Recommend dairy items to ensure customers get what they want and need.
• Check product quality and expiration dates to ensure freshness.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the department manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to seasonal ads.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and report hazards to management.
• Assist with equipment checks and notify when repairs are needed.
• Report accidents or safety risks promptly.
• Address customer and employee concerns professionally.
