Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Independence, MO is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to greet donors, screen and record vital signs, and perform phlebotomy to support center operations. You will maintain donor charts, use the Donor Information System, and participate in donor compensation processes.

The role requires a high school diploma, standing for shifts, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with starting pay at $16.00 per hour and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and prioritize donor safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes to center procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
