Job summary

Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) offers high quality early care and youth services in center-based (birth - five), facility-based (age 5-12), and recreational environments (teen; youth sports and fitness).

Incumbent is responsible for coordinating all functions related the execution of the fee assistance program clerical and administrative tasks in support of families and community based providers enrolled in the fee assistance program.

Qualifications

• One year or more of general administrative work experience.
• Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of administrative support functions and office software.
• Knowledge of military CY programs (CYP), such as fee assistance.
• Ability to manage data, reports, and financial records accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain reports, correspondence, and data related to the fee assistance program.
• Review registration and enrollment documents for completeness and eligibility.
• Gather enrollment information and determine subsidy benefits for children.
• Verify provider participation and licensing/accreditation information.
• Process monthly claims and reconcile payments and overpayments.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports per policies.
• Resolve discrepancies through research and communication with families.
• Assist families via phone, email, or online messaging regarding obligations and policies.
• Disseminate information to fee assistance providers on enrollment, renewals, and subsidy awards.
