Navy Region Hawaii Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a CYP Assistant to engage and care for children and youth, ensuring safety and active participation in the CYP. The role involves promoting social skills, healthy choices, and school readiness while exploring the environment and activities.

The CYP Assistant supports curriculum delivery, daily supervision, parent communication, and program assessment under DoD and local guidelines.

Qualifications

• Provide care and supervision for program participants according to DoD CY policies.
• Observe and document development and progress of children and youth for program planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety of children and youth during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Maintain compliance with DoD DoD CY program standards and local policies.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding child progress and program activities.
• Assist in curriculum planning and implementation for daily schedules and activities.
