Job summary

VLCM is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design and architect security solutions for enterprise clients. You will work on-site and with clients remotely, leveraging VLCM's security portfolio to address business needs.

In this role you will collaborate with sales to deliver pre-sales guidance, develop BOMs and SOWs, respond to RFIs, and present technical concepts. Travel is expected to support our customers across industries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Six+ years of IT security experience.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to travel and valid driver’s license.
Security certifications preferred.
IT consulting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Assess, design, and architect security solutions for clients based on VLCM's solution set.
Communicate technical capabilities of proposed solutions based on customer requirements.
Assist customers with Proof of Concept (POC) projects.
Provide pre-sales updates and reports detailing project status and opportunities.
Create BOM and Scope of Work (SOW) documents for qualified opportunities.
Respond to RFIs/RFPs.
Provide up-to-date documentation for the duration of projects.
Conduct presentations of security concepts and design security solutions.
