Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, technical pre‑sales, solution architecture, consulting, or a related customer‑facing technical role.
• Relevant certifications are preferred, including CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC, Microsoft Security, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, Cisco Security, Zscaler, Okta, CyberArk, Splunk, SentinelOne, Wiz, or other relevant cybersecurity manufacturer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor and partner with Account Executives to identify customer initiatives, technical requirements, business risks, and security opportunities.
• Lead customer discovery, assessments, workshops, and architecture discussions; evaluate current environments and translate business, security, and regulatory needs into solution recommendations.
• Engage stakeholders from security engineering and architecture through IT leadership and executive teams; communicate technical concepts and business value clearly.
• Support opportunity strategy and qualification, technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, and customer objections.
• Support Proof-of-Concept and Proof-of-Value activities, technical validation, and competitive sales situations; communicate opportunity status, risks, dependencies, and next steps to the sales team.
• Design practical, scalable security architectures across security operations (including SIEM and SOAR), endpoint (EDR/XDR), network (including NDR, firewalls, and segmentation), identity (IAM/PAM), Zero Trust, SASE, cloud, data protection, vulnerability management, email, application/API security, threat detection, cyber resilience, and emerging AI security.
