Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Security Program Support Analyst to support U.S. Navy's Team Submarine at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

The role involves handling security processes, visiting requests, clearances, and safeguarding secure information while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Requires at least 1 year of experience in a secure environment and an active DoD/DoN Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional work experience in a secure or classified environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).
• Strong administrative skills.
• Active DoD/DoN Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming and outgoing visit requests (VAR's) in DISS.
• Check clearances for secure room access.
• Process building access requests for employees.
• Prepare courier cards and courier orders.
• Assist Govt Security Specialist with administrative support, draft memos, create/update SOPs.
• Manage, update and ensure data accuracy across secure government personnel databases.
• Change safe and security padlock combinations.
• Ensure all personnel meet national security standards.

Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Security Program Support Analyst to support U.S. Navy's Team Submarine staff and program offices at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking candidates to Personnel/Information security personnel to support the U.S. Navy's Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard and provide security support functions to the Director Submarine Programs (DSP) work force.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process incoming and outgoing visit requests (VAR's) in DISS.
• Check clearances for secure room access.
• Process bldg. access request for employees.
• Prepare courier cards and courier orders.
• Assist Govt Security Specialist with administrative support, draft memos, create/update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage, update and ensure data accuracy across secure government personnel databases.
• Change safe and security padlock combinations.
• Ensure all personnel meet national security standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• One year (min) professional work experience in a secure or classified work environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills (both written and verbal) to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Clearance: Active DoD/DoN Secret Clearance required.

Work Location: Washington Navy Yard. Limited telework options (less than one day per week).

Travel: potential for travel (less than 5%)
