Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing to secure critical Navy systems. Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

We value a disciplined, collaborative engineer who can apply DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs, and risk assessments to maintain compliance and mission readiness in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering with Navy afloat/tactical systems.
• Five years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or III certification per DoD 8570.01.
• Clear ability to communicate findings in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Visio.
• Derive, document and/or identify system CONOPS for Mission Assurance per DoDI 8500.2.
• Research and recommend logical and physical solutions to achieve certification and accreditation.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations.
• Identify disagreements between as-built specs, security requirements and DoD policies and propose remediation.
