Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst for an on-site role at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct testing to secure systems critical to national security.

This role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD 8570.01 IAT certifications. The team values innovation and collaboration in a highly classified environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• IAT Level II or III DoD 8570.01 certification for ISSO/ISSE.
• Two years security engineering on Navy afloat/tactical systems or five years general security engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity A&A artifacts.
• Document a system from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations.
• Lead ISSO to be focal point for security matters for information systems.
• Perform vulnerability testing with ACAS and related IA tools.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Analyze connectivity between the system and interfacing equipment.
