Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst on site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. You will craft RMF A&A packages, execute continuous monitoring tasks, and conduct system testing to secure cutting-edge systems.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems.

• Two of five years on Combat Weapons Systems (Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt) and DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II/III.

• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, and clear written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.

• Document a system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Word/Excel/Visio.

• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.

• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations for secure configurations.

• Lead ISSO duties for specific information systems and interfaces.
• 7
• Perform vulnerability tests using ACAS and related IA tools.

• Develop cybersecurity requirements and risk mitigation plans for combat systems.
