Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and govern a comprehensive cybersecurity program across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead security strategy, risk assessment, and incident response, guiding teams and vendors to protect critical logistics systems.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience, strong knowledge of NIST/ISO frameworks, and proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network security, cloud architecture, IAM, and data protection.
• Architect and implement security controls for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework and incident response plans.
• Collaborate with leadership to define strategy, risk appetite, and incident response.
