Job summary

Hybrid or remote work are available. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (JD preferred) and at least three years handling litigated coverage and/or liability claims, with strong negotiation, analysis, and communication skills to work with insureds, law firms, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of three years handling litigated coverage and/or liability cases as defense counsel or claims handler in Cyber & Technology, Privacy and Data Breaches, Media Liability and Professional Liability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong negotiation and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of first and third party cyber and technology claims from inception to disposition.
• Investigate, analyze coverage, liability, and damages based on claim facts.
• Manage litigation with defense counsel, including negotiations and budgeting.
• Present case updates to senior claim leadership and stakeholders.
• Attend trials or mediations as needed and participate in broader claim initiatives.
