Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Claims Consultant in Florida to manage first and third party Cyber and Technology claims from inception to disposition. This role requires handling litigated matters, working with defense counsel, and coordinating with customers, law firms, and vendors to mitigate incidents and resolve disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years handling litigated coverage and/or liability cases as defense counsel or claims handler in Cyber & Technology, Privacy and Data Breaches, Media and Professional Liability.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze information to evaluate coverage, liability and damages.
• Manage a caseload of first party and third party Cyber and Technology claims from inception to final disposition.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, negotiate resolutions, and manage litigation planning and budgeting.
• Prepare reports and deliver presentations to senior claim leadership on case developments and industry trends.
