Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Claims Consultant for the Global Financial Lines Cyber and Technology Team in a hybrid/remote arrangement. You will manage a caseload of first-party and third-party cyber and technology claims from inception to final disposition.

The role requires handling litigated matters with defense counsel, performing coverage analyses, and communicating with insureds and partners. Strong investigative and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.
• Minimum of three years handling litigated coverage and/or liability cases.
• Experience in Cyber & Technology, Privacy and Data Breaches, or related areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze claim information to determine coverage, liability and damages.
• Handle first-party and third-party cyber and technology claims from inception to disposition.
• Manage litigation with defense counsel, conduct negotiations, and set reserves.
• Prepare reports and present case developments to senior claim leadership.
• Collaborate with underwriters, vendors, and clients to address claim trends.
