Great American Insurance Group is actively seeking an Underwriting Territory Manager to drive profitable cyber risk growth, lead a small underwriting team, and expand the division's East Coast presence. This remote, East Coast based role requires deep cyber underwriting expertise, strong broker relationships, and the ability to travel up to 50% to engage clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in insurance, risk management, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of Cyber underwriting experience preferred; candidates with substantial expertise in specialty Property & Casualty lines will be considered.
• 2-4+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong technical underwriting expertise with experience handling complex cyber risks and larger accounts.
• Established broker relationships and ability to generate opportunities through market engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable new business production and territory expansion across the East Coast region.
• Lead, coach, and develop an underwriting team while fostering accountability and high performance.
• Underwrite complex Cyber Risk accounts and provide technical guidance on submissions and referrals.
• Execute underwriting strategies that support profitable growth, portfolio diversification, and market expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokers to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including rate adequacy, retention, loss trends, and exposure management.
