Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in insurance, risk management, finance, or a related field.
• Generally 5+ years of Cyber underwriting experience; candidates with substantial expertise in specialty Property & Casualty lines will be considered.
• Generally 2-4+ years of leadership experience developing, coaching, and managing a high-performing underwriting team.
• Established broker relationships and ability to generate opportunities through market engagement and business development.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable new business production and territory expansion across the East Coast region.
• Lead, coach, and develop an underwriting team while fostering accountability, engagement, and high performance.
• Underwrite complex Cyber Risk accounts and provide technical guidance on challenging submissions and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokers to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including rate adequacy, retention, loss trends, and exposure management, and recommend actions.
