Job summary

Surefire Cyber is seeking a Senior Consultant for Digital Forensics and Incident Response to lead client engagements remotely from the United States. You will conduct advanced forensic analysis, identify attack vectors, and guide responses from detection to recovery.

You will mentor teammates, communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and stay current with evolving tools and techniques to strengthen client resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with digital forensic artifacts and tools; able to handle investigations end-to-end.
• Experience with network analysis and intrusion detection is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic investigations on small to medium engagements.
• Represent Surefire Cyber in client-facing incident response engagements.
• Detect and analyze intrusions and provide guidance for containment and recovery.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Document findings clearly with supporting evidence for reports.
