Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 8–12 years in cybersecurity, cyber risk, assurance, controls testing or audit.
• 3+ years of people leadership in cybersecurity assurance or related teams.
• Experience assessing, testing, and validating cybersecurity controls.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, risk management, and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, and maturity of the Cyber Security Assurance Program.
• Oversee planning, execution, and QA of control testing for effectiveness.
• Define asset identification and assurance activities for critical assets.
• Maintain methodologies, standards, and audit-ready controls.
• Monitor threats and regulatory developments impacting the program.
• Report KPIs, risk indicators, and maturity metrics to stakeholders.
• Develop assurance reports, dashboards, findings, and remediation oversight.
• Ensure deficiencies and drift are documented and resolved.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team through workforce planning.
• Partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
