Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting seeks a technically strong Cybersecurity Manager to join our Cybersecurity & Privacy practice in California. The role is hands-on across cloud security, risk, and compliance, requiring design, implementation, and assessment of security controls in client environments.

This is a hybrid role (60% on-site, 40% remote) with local travel in LA/OC. Applicants should have deep technical fundamentals, a relevant degree, and 5+ years in cybersecurity consulting with security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity consulting/engineering experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP or cloud security credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments and security maturity projects across client environments.
• Design and implement security controls for cloud-native and on-prem systems.
• Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning.
• Guide teams across assessment, implementation, and compliance activities to ensure quality and timelines.
