Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code‑compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies.

The role requires validating weld quality, reviewing procedures, and coordinating with NDT personnel to support testing and documentation across field and shop environments. Qualified candidates should hold AWS CWI and other certifications, have strong report writing skills, and be able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments.
• A safety-first mindset and rigorous attention to QA/QC processes are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, API codes, or project-specific criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR documents.
• Monitor welding activities to ensure adherence to procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel to support UT, RT, MT, PT testing as needed.
• Generate detailed inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs.
