Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components. The role requires coordinating NDT services, reviewing WPS/PQR/WQTR, and generating detailed reports across field and shop sites.

Candidate must maintain safety-first practices and client specifications. Required credentials include AWS CWI and the ability to obtain TWIC/DISA access, with travel to various sites.

Qualifications

• Must have AWS CWI certification and be able to obtain TWIC and site access credentials.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills for QA/QC inspections.
• Experience with visual welding inspections per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes, or project criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR records for weld quality compliance.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel to support UT, RT, MT, PT testing.
• Generate inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs.
• Interface with client QA/QC personnel, fabricators, and engineers to resolve issues.
