Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies.

The role requires verifying weld quality through visual inspection and coordinating nondestructive examination with NDT personnel across field and shop environments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of welding practices, inspection techniques, and documentation processes to support safety-critical operations and client

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work at client sites and field locations.
• Experience with welding inspections and QA/QC coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual weld inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes, or project criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR documents.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel for UT/RT/MT/PT testing as needed.
• Generate inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs.
