Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. seeks a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components in field and shop environments.

The role requires reviewing weld procedures (WPS), PQR, WQTR, coordinating with NDT, and generating detailed inspection reports and weld maps for client QA/QC programs. Candidates should hold AWS CWI and related API certifications, be willing to travel, obtain site access credentials such as TWIC, and uphold

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification is required.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes.
• Ability to obtain TWIC and site access credentials.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to field and shop locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections per project criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR records.
• Coordinate with NDT to support testing needs.
• Generate inspection reports and weld maps.
• Interface with client QA/QC and engineers on issues.
