Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components. You will validate weld quality visually and through NDT coordination across field and shop environments, ensuring codes and client specs are met.

The role requires strong knowledge of welding practices, inspection techniques, and documentation to support safety-critical operations and QA/QC programs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification required
• APIs (510/570/653) and AMPP credentials preferred
• TWIC and site access credentials required
• Strong report writing and interface with multi-level stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes or project criteria
• Review welding procedures (WPS), PQR, and WQTR
• Monitor welding activities to ensure adherence to procedures and client specs
• Coordinate with NDT personnel for UT/RT/MT/PT testing
• Generate detailed inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs
• Witness welder qualification tests and maintain logs
• Interface with client QA/QC, fabricators, and engineers to resolve issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and TEAM's standards
• Uphold industry codes and TEAM's professionalism
