Job summary

Advocate Health in Concord, NC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room activities in the Cabarrus facility. You will uphold aseptic technique, assist with supplies, instruments, patient prep, and room turnover during 4 ten-hour shifts with occasional call and weekend coverage.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, 5 years OR experience, and NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required or successful completion of military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist.
• 5 years of operating room experience in surgical technologist role required.
• Current certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and its application.
• Assists in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments during procedures.
• Assists RN circulator in patient prep, room turnover, and specimen handling.
• Monitors sterilization activities and文 documentation of charges.
• Participates in training, policy development, and department projects.
