Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Atrium Health Cabarrus campus in Concord, NC. You will apply aseptic technique, assist in preparing patients, supplies, and instruments, and support the RN circulator to ensure efficient room turnover.

The role requires 5 years of OR experience, NBSTSA or NCCT certification, and meeting ST III qualifications; CVOR experience is highly preferred. Four ten-hour shifts with call and weekend rotation are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or equivalent military training program.
• 5 years of operating room experience in surgical technologist role required.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
• Meets all ST III qualifications of Surgical Tech Ladder; CVOR experience highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists in preparation of patient, supplies, instruments, and room turnover.
• Maintains aseptic technique and monitors sterility of supplies.
• Assists RN circulator and participates in all aspects of operative setup and turnover.
• Attends in-services and participates in Performance Improvement processes.
• Serves as a clinical resource and preceptor; contributes to policy development.
