Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Cabarrus Surgery Department in Concord, NC. This full-time role requires 4 ten-hour shifts per week with 1-2 on-call shifts and 1 in 4 weekend call coverage.

You will assist in sterile technique, organize supplies, and support the RN circulator through all phases of the surgical procedure. Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification and 5 years OR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification.
• 5 years operating room experience required.
• CVOR experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Assist in preparing and organizing supplies and instruments.
• Support RN circulator and manage room turnover and patient readiness.
• Follow department policies and prioritize instrument handling and documentation.
• Monitor sterility of supplies and assist with charges documentation.
