Job summary

IntermountainHealth is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join our Operating Room team in Grand Junction, CO. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and peers to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

The role requires a BSN, Colorado RN license, BLS, and preferred cardiothoracic experience. Expect 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri with call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.
• At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
