Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Cardiovascular OR Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The CVOR RN will deliver safe, high‑quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses to ensure smooth operations and strong patient outcomes. Role requires BSN, Colorado RN license (or compact), BLS certification, and 1 year of cardiothoracic nursing experience

Qualifications

BSN from an accredited program.
Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
At least 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess a patient’s medical status upon admission.
Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to ensure safe, high‑quality care.
Document evaluation, treatment and adherence to guidelines.
