Job summary

IntermountainHealth is seeking a Cardiovascular OR RN to join the Operating Room team in Grand Junction. You will provide specialized CVOR care, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires a BSN, Colorado RN license (or compact), and BLS certification, with 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience preferred. Shift is 10 hours/day, Monday–Friday, with call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Colorado RN license required or ability to obtain.
• BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
• At least 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical status upon admission and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses to ensure safe, high-quality CVOR care.
• Document and follow evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.

Education

BSN from an accredited program

Current Colorado RN license (or compact license)

Current BLS certification

1 year Cardiothoracic nursing experience
