IntermountainHealth is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join the surgical services team in Grand Junction, CO. The CVOR nurse collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and peers to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing procedures.

Requirements include a BSN, Colorado RN (or compact) license, BLS, and ideally 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing in acute care. The role features a 40-hour week in the Operating Room with some call.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval).
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.

Responsabilités

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.

Formation

BSN from an accredited program

Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license

BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 60 days

ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service
