Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, part of Intermountain Health, is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join the surgical services team in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The CVOR nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to deliver safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. A BSN and current Colorado RN license are required, with on-call and shift details as listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular OR nursing care and patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR team to ensure safety and quality.
• Assess patients upon admission and contribute to plan of care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain compliance with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
