Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, part of IntermountainHealth, is seeking a Cardiovascular OR RN to join our surgical services team in Grand Junction, CO.

You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver safe, high-quality care for cardiac procedures. Requirements include a BSN, Colorado RN license, BLS with ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate, and at least one year of cardiothoracic nursing experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.

Education

BSN from an accredited program

Colorado RN license

Current BLS certification

ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service
