Job summary

Medical City Healthcare in Dallas, TX is seeking a Part-Time Night Shift Registered Nurse (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. The RN coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and care teams. Requires TX license, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred and CCRN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional nursing.
• Associate Degree required; BSN is required within 24 months of hire if hire date is after 6/1/12.
• Current TX or compact RN license.
• Current BLS issued by recognized body (AHA/Red Cross).
• Current ACLS issued by recognized body (AHA/Red Cross).
• CCRN preferred.
• Experience with high acuity ICU medical/surgical patients is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last 3 years; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per department standards.
• Performs procedures and monitors, documenting care in the medical record.
• Educates patients/families on condition, treatment plan, meds, and follow-up.
• Implements evidence-based practices and quality improvements.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and customize patient care.
