Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU night shift. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, monitoring and documenting care in the electronic medical record.

The role requires an RN license in TX, BLS and ACLS, and ICU experience; BSN preferred with a plan to obtain within 2 years. Medical City offers comprehensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred and to be completed within 2 years.
• Registered Nurse license valid in TX.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire.
• ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and care plan in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families on condition, treatments, and follow-up.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and adjust care plans.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical standards.
