Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and follow established nursing models to ensure outstanding outcomes.

BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire and a Texas or compact RN license is required. You will administer medications, monitor responses, educate patients and families, and document care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associates Degree acceptable; BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Texas or a compact license.
• BLS certification issued by AHA or Red Cross.
• 1 year of acute care hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients; document care in the medical record; administer medications and monitor responses.
• Respond to patient requests promptly and proactively address needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care; translate terminology as needed.
