Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the fast-paced cardiac electrophysiology setting. You will collaborate with physicians, monitor patients during procedures, and ensure equipment readiness and supplies are available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in Arkansas required or eligible.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in fast-paced cardiac, EP, and electrophysiology settings.
• ACLS and CPR certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiac/EP environment across patient populations.
• Assist with procedure rooms, equipment readiness, and supply procurement; communicate with physicians about patient status.

Education

Registered Nurse, BSN preferred but not required.

Provides direct patient care to all patient populations; excluding pediatrics. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Registered Nurse, BSN preferred but not required.
• Licensure: Arkansas Registered Nurse
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years fast paced cardiac, specials, and electrophysiology experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, CPR
