Mercy is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in fast-paced cardiac, electrophysiology, and related surgical environments. You will provide direct patient care, address psychosocial and physical care aspects, and communicate with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties include equipment and inventory readiness and CQI participation.
The role requires AR RN licensure, ACLS and CPR certifications, and a commitment to teamwork within a dynamic cardiac care setting.
Provides direct patient care to all patient populations; excluding pediatrics. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
