Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will coordinate with the surgical team and other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.
The role requires a nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN), an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, and at least six months of OR experience.
Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care with surgical team in collaboration with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience: Six months OR experience. Proficient in Level I requirements as defined per policy.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
