Mercy in Arkansas is seeking an experienced RN to join our fast-paced cardiac, electrophysiology team. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with physicians, and help ensure room readiness and equipment readiness for procedures.
The role requires AR RN licensure, a BSN preferred, and ACLS/CPR certifications, with at least three years in cardiac/EP settings. Mercy offers strong benefits, tuition support, retirement plans, and a supportive, collaborative environment.
Provides direct patient care to all patient populations; excluding pediatrics. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
