Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in fast-paced cardiac, electrophysiology, and surgical settings. You will communicate with physicians and assist with equipment and inventory to ensure readiness for procedures.
The role requires an Arkansas RN license, 3+ years in cardiac/EP, and ACLS/CPR certifications. You will join a collaborative team focused on quality improvement and excellence in patient care.
Provides direct patient care to all patient populations; excluding pediatrics. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
