Job summary

Mercy Health in Rogers, AR seeks a Registered Nurse with cardiac electrophysiology experience to provide direct patient care across adult populations in the surgical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and ensure equipment readiness while supporting the EP and Cath Lab teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Nurse, BSN preferred but not required.
• Licensure: Arkansas Registered Nurse
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years fast paced cardiac, specials, and electrophysiology experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, CPR

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care to all patient populations in the surgical environment.
• Communicate with the physician continuously about patient condition.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assess procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure needs of EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met.
• Monitor, position and assist patient during procedure.
• Participate in CQI activities and performance improvement.

Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the EP, Specials, and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
