Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a capable team member to coordinate US Customs documentation for entry of goods. You will provide impeccable customer service and accurately classify items for customs release. Responsibilities include data entry of import paperwork, maintaining shipment records, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Role involves collaboration with internal staff, carriers, brokers, and customers; may include remote filings and paid training. 50-mile proximity to Memphis preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; no industry experience needed.
• Minimum 6 months work experience preferred.
• Data entry/keyboard experience required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to use multiple systems and reference material; interact with customers and agencies.
• Within 50 miles of the Memphis area; role may be remote/hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate US Customs documentation for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Classify goods for customs release from databases and tariff books.
• Enter and process import paperwork for US Customs.
• Keep shipment documents in regulatory compliance.
• Follow all importing/exporting regulations.
• Work with internal teams, carriers, brokers, and customers.
• Process agency brokerage shipments; may do remote filings.
• Receive paid training; follow policies.
