Job summary

FedEx Logistics in the United States is seeking a documentation coordinator to manage the filing of shipments with US Customs and other government agencies. You will ensure accurate classification, timely submissions, and compliance across complex and high-risk shipments.

You will deliver impeccable service to customers, work with internal teams and external partners, and handle brokerage-related tasks, remote filings, and entry reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• Six months brokerage experience required.
• One year of customer contact experience.
• One year of experience using computer systems for routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs and government agencies for entry of shipments.
• Provide impeccable customer service and assist with specialized processing to reduce penalties.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Enter and process import-related documentation for US Customs and PGA submissions.
• Maintain current shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all import/export regulations and collaborate with internal staff and government agencies.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and handle remote filings.
• Perform entry reconciliations as needed and ensure compliance.
