Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a detail‑oriented Import Documentation Coordinator in Indianapolis to manage customs documentation for import entries. You will classify goods, perform data entry for government submissions, and maintain shipment records with accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
No industry experience required.
One year of experience using computer systems for data entry, document creation, or navigation of standard software.

Responsibilities

Coordinate documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods.
Provide impeccable customer service.
Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOPs, tariff books, internet or customs.
Data entry and processing of various import related documentation for submission to US Customs.
Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
Adhere to all international importing regulations.
Work with internal staff and departments to deliver high level of service to customers.
Process agency brokerage shipments.
Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
Paid training provided.
