Job summary

Amada in La Mirada, CA is seeking a customer service representative to handle high-volume calls, emails, and in-person requests. You will inform customers on prices, shipping dates, delays, and total costs, and enter data to determine costs. You will coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely shipments.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on accurate data entry and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Computer knowledge including email etiquette, PDF handling, and website navigation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (optional).
• Strong verbal and written communication, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume customer calls, emails, and in-person requests.
• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information.
• Enter data into the computer to determine total cost for the customer.
• Process incoming customer PO orders as soon as possible.
• Communicate terms of sale to customers at time of quote or order.
• Check inventory control and notify stock control on items out of stock.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Resolve customer complaints and discrepancies with care.
• Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, and warehouse to expedite or trace missing/delayed shipments.
• Process orders and provide product stock ETAs.
• Process returns of merchandise and coordinate credits/price adjustments.
