Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Ohio to help customers by phone and in person, clarify needs, and recommend parts. You will contribute to sales goals while delivering excellent service and post-order support. HP growth path with training, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

You will work in a stable, established company with opportunities to learn and advance within a global distributor of industrial products.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and written skills, including English grammar.
• Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
• SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required.
• Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility.
• Clarify needs, research, and after you get up to speed, recommend parts.
• Meet/exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
• Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service.
